The Great Gatsby Essay
The book The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a periodless and valuable piece of American literature. on that point are many reasons that this book is valuable such as the air they express the American ideate. Another reason is the way they show and explain symbolism. Character development over time is also huge part of the story, and last was the way they showed the varied classes and tied them to gather at the same time.
The American reverie is to work hard and pass your dreams, or to hire sufficient and live comfortably. In The Great Gatsby, Gatsby was very poor and wanted to be with Daisy. Daisy and Gatsby were in love but Daisy could not be with him. Gatsby was poor and Daisy was rich and in that time period it was not acceptable to the parents to marry lower than your class. Gatsby worked hard to achieve his dream. His dream was to be with the person he loved because he was unhappy without it. All Americans can relate to this that is why it is called the American dream.
The commonality Light is what makes a person go. In other haggle it is what comes into a persons heart that makes them want to achieve the American dream. Gatsbys kilobyte light was daisy; she made him stress in life and work hard to achieve his goals. Myrtles green light was tom.



Tom made her look forward to things; he gave her clothes and stuff she never could afford in her life with Wilson. Everyone needs a green light, something to look forward to or a purpose.
Character development is the way the author develops a character throughout the story. Daisy is introduced as happy, bubbly lady that doesnt really care about anything. She is naïve, talks a lot, and acts like she doesnt know that Tom is cheating on her even though Myrtle calls his house and makes it completely obvious. Tom is introduced as a cocky man who thinks he is coolheaded and brags about how rich he is. Tom is disrespectful to Daisy in a lot of ways.
